For those of you planning or even thinking of visiting me, I will now give you some tips on Disney. I'm sure my sister will give you more, but remember who gave you tips first!!!
1. If you are flying down and staying on property, make sure you sign up for Mickey's Magical Express. It is a FREE bus service from Orlando airport to whatever Disney hotel you're staying at. It's a real nice tour bus which during the ride they will show you a Disney movie....
2. Disney hotels can turn your room key into a Credit card tied to the room, so you can charge things against the room, this can make quick meals at the hotels even easier.
3. All shops in the parks have the option to have what you buy either shipped to the front of the park, or back to your room so you don't have to carry it around all day.
4. Anytime you have to get in a line(food, rides, shopping) always go to the line farthest left. People in the US(and a lot of the world) are used to walking and driving on the right, so they tend to go to the right line. 8 out of 10 times the Left line will be shorter. (I used that trick this week on Pirates)
5.If you are taking the Monorail to Magic Kingdom, ride the Resort one and not the Express. People think the express will get them there faster and that the resort one will not go to the park. They are soooo wrong. The resort gets to the park only slightly slower and it is always emptier then the express. On crowed days you can get a seat on the resort while on the express you'll be packed in like a sardine.
5. The Fast Pass. It's a wonderful thing and will save you time by keeping you out of lines. But you can only have one at a time, right? Wrong. Sure you can only have one on you admission ticket, but most Fast Pass machines have a little button on the back near the top that if you press, the machine will spit out Fast Pass. Not many people not on cast know about this, so don't go blabbing it, also not all the machines buttons work.
6. It does not matter which hotel you stay at on property, you can go to any of the others and use the pools and other ahemitys at them. This is great as some hotels suck, but have awesome pools.
7. Have one "Big meal" a day. Don't eat a big, expensive breakfast, lunch and dinner. Pick one and eat cheap the rest. Your wallets and stomachs will thank you.
8. Disney mixes their drinks hard and well. One drink here will pack the punch of two most other places but they are mixed so well you won't feel or taste it.
9. Parades are a great time to go on rides. Ride wait times almost always drop during parades. Since everyone is watching the parade, no one is riding rides!
10. Magic Kingdom and Disney MGM studios both have "Main Streets" and on the left side(when entering the park) they both have shops that are connected and run the length on the "Main Street". They all have A/C. But few people seem to realize this, so they make great shortcuts around the crowds. Also, during parades, they are really the only way around.
11. It gets really hot here, far hotter then baltimore. Drink lots of water, wear lose light colored clothes, and try to wear shorts.Even if you don't like them, you'll like passing out less.
12. MAKE RESERVATIONS. When you want to eat somewhere, make reservations. Almost all the sit down resturents will let you make them, and it is really good idea to for a number of reasons, which I'll go it to only at request. Also, I highly recomend going to the Hoop Dee Doo Revue. It's a fun all you can eat show/buffet. The food is really good american style(Fried chicken, ribs, corn on the cob, beans and strawberry shortcake, plus unlimited draft beer, wine, sangria and soft drinks. I love it, the food is good and so is the show, but you have to make reservations well in advance. Like TODAY.
13. Go buy a Birnbaum's book. http://www.amazon.com/Birnbaums
More tips to come as I think of them. All of these my family have been using for years, some we learned from guide books and many Lisa came up with.
A real post will come later.

This does work, the one and only time I got to go to Disney my mother and I used this method. Plus...we snacked a long the way (had we had the cash on hand).
